Eagle Toastmasters Meeting Overview from our President Kate Kelly
It was a good night for our Eagle Toastmasters club!
We had three guests visit our club tonight and all three of them became members! I watched as our members greeted the guests when they came in and made them feel welcome. Throughout the meeting our roles were explained and their comments at the end of the meeting were all very complimentary. Ian, great job! Also thank you to the members present tonight for making the meeting so great that our guests would want to join our club.
Elaine Piazza was Toastmaster for the night which was the last thing she needed to complete her Competent Leadership manual - Congratulations Elaine!!
We had three prepared speeches and three good evaluations. No one was dis-satisfied which was the word of the day - thank you Tom.
Our next meeting is Monday, February 20th. Please sign up for roles prior to the meeting and make every effort to attend so that our club can continue to grow and attract new members with the good energy we bring to every meeting.
Kate
